Although the weather continues to be changeable there were several club competitions played last week:-

Div 3 – Neil Wood – 60
The Donald Cameron Foursomes were played at Sandyhills during the week. Our 4 man team enjoyed a great win over local rivals Douglas Park GC in the first round but lost out against a strong Sandyhills GC Team in the Quarter Finals on Wed evening. Well done to all who played.
On Wednesday the Mcintyre team earned a credible draw at home to Kirkintilloch GC, comfortably keeping them near the top of the table.
On Sunday our 4 Man DGU team had an excellent home victory against Clober GC. The team are now through to the semi finals. Well done gents, a great achievement.
Our Thomson McCrone team travel to Helensburgh for their last 16 match this coming Sunday – Good luck to the team and if anyone wishes to go along to watch the game you would be more than welcome.
Our Vice Captain Steven Scott has been working hard on the upcoming Gala weekend in August and entries will be opening shortly, so please keep an eye out for this and book early to ensure a place!
Finally, it is a big couple of weeks for Ewen Ferguson kicking off with the Scottish Open this week – best of luck Ewen!
