Bearsden Golf Club- Juniors
Hello,
With the golfing season around the corner, I thought now would be a good time to touch base with you all and formally introduce myself. My name is Andrew McNee and I am really proud to have taken over the role of Junior Convenor at Bearsden Golf Club. I have been a member of BGC for 15 years and am very excited for the season(s) ahead as Junior Convenor.
With the warmer weather ‘apparently’ looming I am sure you are all excited to get back out on the course.

Juniors 2022 Prize Giving
Albeit not traditional we opted to wait until the start of the next season to hold our Prizegiving for the previous year. The Prizegiving event will take place on Friday 14th April in the Clubhouse.
This is an evening for all Juniors and family members to meet up and enjoy a drink or two and some lovely food from our Chef; Madeleine.
In the past, this event has been created for only the winners of these awards but this year’s event is to appreciate all of our Junior members and showcase our exciting golfing and social program for the year ahead.
Date – Friday 14 April
Time – 7pm til late.
Where – Bearsden Golf Club
I would like to stress that this is for all Junior members and their families, I hope to see you all there for what will be a fantastic evening celebrating our golf club, especially our Junior Section.
Easter Coaching Camp
There are still a few spaces left for our Easter Coaching Camp. We are offering a series of daily, 40-minute sessions of coaching and golfing fun during the school Easter holidays led by professional Andrew McArthur. The cost for each Junior will be £39 for the four days of the camp. Juniors with a handicap, or ready to play for a handicap, will be encouraged to play nine holes (where possible accompanied by an adult volunteer) after their coaching session. Hire A Club Campaign

Over the quieter golfing months, we have rolled out our new BGC website. The Junior Section have its own dedicated tab where you will find all news, updates, and fixtures.
