An update on the course. The weather has been against us recently, however we’ve been busy working on the bunkers, which I hope you will agree are looking pretty good.
You will also notice we’ve given the semi-rough a light trim. We have also aerated the greens and applied a calcium organic base fertiliser to them, this will act as a booster and encourage when the weather picks up.
On the greens front, I’m disappointed with the number of pitch marks that go unrepaired. Some are as big as 19mm and with the season about to start I’m hoping this will improve.
It is your own responsibility to repair your pitch marks, but if you practice this old adage, you won’t go far wrong:
Fix your own plus 1.
